Abintegro is now providing online career development for students at 80 universities, announcing Edinburgh Napier, York St John, London South Bank, De Montfort, Bath Spa and Hertfordshire University as new customers.
Universities are increasingly embedding employability into the curriculum, to enable students to demonstrate to employers they have the skills to succeed in the workplace. To do this, they are investing heavily in technology to ensure professional career development support can be scaled to all students.
Working alongside university careers teams, the Abintegro Career Centre provides students with all the career preparation tools they need to succeed in today’s job market and connects them to millions of employers and job opportunities. The university career services set tasks for their students to complete and monitor the usage to better understand student career objectives and needs. The platform has over 800,000 active users completing millions of activities annually.
David Heard, Commercial Director, said:
“With prospective students sharpening their focus on employment outcomes before taking the decision about where to study, career development is finally being put at the heart of the university agenda. The forthcoming apprenticeship levy is likely to supress the level of graduate-level vacancies so it’s vital the careers service sector – the institutions and partner companies like Abintegro – continue to innovate.”
The 6 new university customers means an estimated 25,000 additional students are building their employability with the Abintegro online career development solution each year.
