Using their Career Centre to deliver programmes at scale, Manchester Metropolitan University trialled a Credit Bearing Programme for final year students, with 10% of their final year marks attributed to undertaking the programmes. The pilot was trialled for the Faculty of Business & Law. The two final year programmes were Global Strategy and Corporate Reporting and consisted of the following:
- 4 tasks and 23 actions to complete
- Programme content included tests, career assessments, assessment centre tool and specific videos/e-Learning
The take-up was slow initially, however student engagement increased significantly towards the end of the academic year.
